The three parties negotiating to form Germany's new government have reached a deal. The center-left Social Democrats, the Green party and the business-friendly FDP have been in talks since shortly after the elections at the end of September. Once the agreement is approved by their members, the parties aim to get Social Democrat Olaf Scholz named chancellor by the beginning of December.
